The Town Duck features one of the largest selections of wines in the area. Our emphasis is on offering excellent wines at reasonable prices. We rely on experts, as 
well as on our extensive research, to keep us informed of new releases, ratings etc. While we do sell some of the products of the large distributors, small "boutique" wines are our specialty.
There are importers who specialize in these wines, many of which have been reviewed by Robert Parker, publisher of The Wine Advocate. Mr. Parker is said to have the greatest palate today and there have been numerous articles about him. He was recently featured on 60 Minutes and PBS's Charlie Rose.
Several wine experts conduct tastings in the shop from time to time, and there is always one on hand on Saturdays during the holiday season. We are in the process of developing an email address book and hope it will be ready after the holidays. If you would like to be on our mailing list, please send us your email address. We will be emailing information about new wines, upcoming events, etc. Several people have been encouraging us to start a wine lovers' club.
